Irish trio Alex Trimble, Sam Halliday and Kevin Baird first got themselves noticed in 2010 when they released their debut album, "Tourist History". Their singles, including "I Can Talk" and "Something Good Can Work", quickly put Two Door Cinema Club on the map of the indie rock world, thanks to their powerful choruses and the band's energy, which is clear as day on the recording and absolutely contagious on stage. The album won the Choice Music Prize the following year. In 2011, their single "What You Know" became a major hit after the band performed it on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
Two Door Cinema Club continued their cross-border success in 2012 by releasing their second album, "Beacon", which reached number one in Ireland and number two in the UK. "Sleep Alone" was one of the most loved tracks from their bold second record. The album was produced by the renowned Jacknife Lee, who has worked with other top-tier bands, including U2, REM and Bloc Party. It was a winning partnership that continued for Two Door Cinema Club's most recent work: "Gameshow". Along their way, Two Door Cinema Club have been nominated for various awards by NME, including best new band, best album and best live band.
